Its none of the Schiavo Foundation's business what medical care decisions a spouse makes for an incapacitated patient. It's between the spouse, the doctor, and the spouse's God. Unfortunately, that's something the Schindler's were entirely blind to.

It is all of society's business to prevent cold-blooded murder. Have you lost your mind?

I don't know who wrote that above, but recent, and not so recent history has, unfortunately, taught us otherwise.

It is, indeed, hard for me to imagine how a man trapped in his own body must feel, knowing what he must know now about how his wife's feelings have changed. I wonder if he knows how severely they have changed. Part of me hopes not, but part of me hopes he knows so he can defend himself if he can.
