Please, Grzegorz, make that VICHY France. 200,000 French soldiers and 350,000 French civilians died during the war AGAINST Nazi Germany, and I'd like their memory to be honored on this Victory Day.

In the case of France we allied with the exiled Charles de Gaulle and his Free French govt. The French collaborationist govt was either hanged or jailed by de Gaulle.
