He cut your taxes and gave you more money in your pockets.

Which I put right back into the economy. His spending is out of control though. He grew the government faster than Clinton did, and everyone here was complaining about his spending, Bush shouldn't get a pass because he is a republican. Remember, he does work for us and the values that we, as republicans, believe. If we don't complain and let our voice be heard loud and clear, the people with their hands out asking for more, will get it and that is NOT what conservatism is about.

Ummmmm, The President cannot cut taxes and he cannot give me more OF MY OWN MONEY.

AND YOU ARE A CONSERVATIVE?

This is a comedy thread right? It's all a put on right?

Whew, for a second you had me there, I thought you were serious!

Actually I haven't noticed that much of a cut. And considering the level of spending he not only approves yearly but leads the call for, I can't say my taxes can be that low for long. Tell me, when's the last time a limited government stance called for prescription drug plans and expanded wastes of money on education?

Not in every case. My husband and I do not fall within the right "group" for tax cuts. We have no children, own our home, make good money, drive new cars, support illegal aliens and welfare cases with our tax dollars.

There are "tax credits" for parents, and other "tax credits", I'm sure, but a tax credit does not equal a tax cut - and the "tax cuts" are certainly NOT being given to "everyone who pays taxes".

We were "paid off" right after Bush took office, we got a "refund of $600.00. Boy! Bush was sure wonderful, my, my, I guess he really will cut taxes, we foolishly thought.

Well, La de da! This year, we had to PAY over $900.00 in taxes owed, even though all the correct amounts were taken from our checks..you see, we made the mistake of actually being self-supporting and not seeking hand-outs..and the government sure can not afford citizens who are self-supporting.

Adding the Lie that Bush told about tax cuts for everyone, with his willingness to make taxpayers bear the burden of illegals, and I see plenty of room for criticism of this President.

And yes, I voted for him.
