If the MM Project was not working I might grudgingly agree with the militia concept. But it IS working and needs to be expanded, without interference from potential troublemakers.

It's people like you who have caused the problem in the first place. When the immigration law is not enforced, it leads to an invasion of illegals who defy the law, which in turn leads to lawlessness on the part of our own citizens. For example, Why should I have a drivers license when illegals don't have them and would get forged ones even if the law were changed?
So, the Minutemen come and raise a stink, legally, to draw attention to the problem, and you complain about citizen's making a legitimate cry for help. On the other hand, people like you support an invasion of illegal thieves and gangbangers across the border and then are surprised when gangs of thieves and gangbangers take them on? Unbelievable.
Lawlessnes begats lawless ness. That's the whole point. The Minutemen are trying to avert the greater problem.

No actual militia has been quoted on the media until this. What you seem to have been unable to glean from previous stories of the MinuteMan project, with your keen eye for detail, is the complete lack of connection between the MinuteMan project and any militia.
a secondary thought: if the media insists on calling the citizens group involved with the MinuteMan project a militia, does that add credibility to the 2nd amendment applying to all citizens, thereby tripping up some liberal arguments against it?
These people are a totally different group than the Minutemen.
Your statement is analogous to comparing a Neighborhood Watch group watching out for Bloods gang member activity in the neighborhood to Crips gang members threatening lethal force against the same Bloods gang members.
