If we continue to reward this behavior, we'll see more of it. Rick Santorum does not represent the conservatives of PA. The choice in the general election will be between socialism and socialism lite. That is no choice at all. If we don't draw a line in the sand, refuse to cross it, we'll inevitably continue to slouch toward full socialism. We must not allow it! We must hold those politicians whose words and actions are incongruent, accountable.

JMO, you are obvioulsy a troll, especially when you stated yesterday that Specter picks judicial nominees, when he doesn't the President does.
BTW, how are things going at the casey/rendell HQ basement?

Sometimes being practical is more important than being pure. If you wait for an electable candidate who reflects all your views precisely, you will be waiting a long time I dare say. In any event, Santorum is solid - his views regarding his opposition to gay marriage have echoed, he has been a solid vote for President Bush's programme. He is not in the same catagory as Chaffee, Snowe or the other traitors with an R after their names. I see no gain in turfing him out, only to provide greater power to the likes of Harry Reid.

I think you are a seminar poster. Where were you during the Arlen Specter debates on FR last year? If I had to guess, I would say that you're an academic in PA who thinks they can fool those dumb yokels on Free Republic into turning against Santorum.
Nice try.
