It's obvious that the martyrdom of Terri Schiavo is a satanic ritual. It's supposed to culminate tomorrow, day Jesus Christ died.
I'm sure many of you also have understood it. Instead of continuing listing the details, I will let you do it yourselves.

Y'know, I had a thought earlier tonight. Keyes was willing to be arrested to protest not being allowed into a presidential primary debate. But -- so far -- he has not yet been willing to be arrested for Terri Schiavo.

That occurred to me earlier, as well. I will resist the urge to say anything snarkier than that. (For a change.)

Thanks for the kind comment...often, it is we who work in the health care area, ,and see all sorts of things, that in the end decide we want to be let go, when the time comes...

All of us used to joke, that heck, we dont want our children to care for us, we want to have our own ward in the nursing home, as we know all the tricks that the old folks pull to rattle the nursing home staff...(note...I am not being irreverant to the subject of the thread , just trying to insert some respite into a serious thread)....

When my dying time comes, I want it to come swiftly...I dont want any do gooder, inflicting his will on me...thank goodness I have a living will, and have explicit advanced directives, that even a child could understand...

I am still waiting to see the exact paragraph in the U.S. Constitution that granted the Federal Government the power to intervene in a single family issue.

Of course, if you turn three times in a winder-shine direction, while balancing on one foot and during a full Moon, you can find something in the Constitution to support your position.

With you all the way. The fact that Terrie may succumb on or about Easter may or may not be coincidence. However, what rises from her death might be a guidence we've so long forsaken.

Our country no longer follows the path set by our founders who blazed it with divine inspiration. The congress, the senate, and even the presidency ('cept for the liberty vs. tyranny overseas thingy) mouth platitudes about things having less importance than life itself. Starving a woman to death ranks up there with the total disarmement of the populace. How, might you ask?

Her feeding tube is a lifeline no less than is our ability to defend ourselves. Yanking a tube from her stomach is no different than grabbing all guns, the difference being that, I'll refuse to lay comotose when they come. I promise to awaken from the slumber that has lasted many long years. And I'll kick, bite, and grab at anything I can to thwart their advance. Power to the people, dammit! And for those opposed: power to the State. Wear it on your sleeve, or better yet, tattoo it to your foreheads.

I mentioned this earlier, but for me a critical thing was the death of my grandmother. She had a DNR that was not respected. She was revived. She was suffering from senile dementia at the time and over 90. One month later, she slipped into a death rattle. We waited until she passed, then waited an hour longer before calling the paramedics. We explained that she was dead, she was going to remain dead, had a dnr, etc, and to be low key, but they still went out with full lights at 1AM and woke all the neighbors with both an ambulance, a fire truck, lights and sirens.

Most people would not want to live 15 years this way. That is why I find it reasonable that Terri Schiavo would say something that by the latest polls 82% of americans agree with here.

I respect life, I cherish it. I don't cherish the physical processes of respiration, digestion, heart beating. I enjoy living, loving, learning.

Bless Terri, Michael, and the Schindlers, and God bless us all. We are going to need some divine help to get past the bile, and hostility that has occured this past week.
