When soldiers start to have sex with each other we have a serious problem. There are a lot of reasons why this is very bad. The sexual politics involved, women getting pregnant and venereal disease can corrupt and destroy our military. This is a serious problem in the navy because women in highly specialized technical positions who have to be removed from ships when they get pregnant.
This has to be stopped.
This type of behavior will never be stopped; as long as they don't start humping while in a fire fight.
There's nothing wrong with doing what men and women do, when they are together ~ as long as they are off duty.
It's one of the benefits of having men and women serving together. ;)
Reminds me of when we had the debate on Gays in the military and Gore Vidal stated that it was a good thing as it would ensure true "foxhole solidarity" among the troops. He used the example of the Greek Imperial forces who regularly engaged in sexual activity with eachother.
