You haven't lived until you've had someone ping you to a thread to claim that "ITO" you are posting from Hillary's basement. Note the use of the 'in their opinion' phrase to avoid anyone being able to call the fruitcake a liar.
Then there's the claim of the moral high ground as this same pantywaiste posts comment after comment from other threads, without links, without including what comments they were in reponse to, or even the date and thread on which they were made.
Then people come in and trash everyone that suggests ideas on how to repatriate illegals to their nation of origion. They disrupt, lie, introduce false arguements, make preposterous statements accuse the other side of being the problem.
Not once do they offer one word of support on how to end illegal immigration, but oh yes, they deny that they support it. Yes they trash anyone who explains that Bush's worker permit plan is nothing more than legitimizing illegal immigration, giving legal status to the illegal immigrant, and the subsequent fast track to citizenship. Bush denies supporting amnesty, but doesn't deny the processes I have just enumerated. He expounds on the topic, explaining in great detail just what I have, and defends it. They deny it. And of course, they support his plan and yet want you to know, they are against illegal immigration. Don't ever forget it.
In my experience on this forum, few efforts have been as divisive, dishonerable, as disruptive or as non-Conservative as the supporters of illegal immigration and the detractors of those who oppose it.
1. Conservatives support the rule of law
2. Conservatives (not liberals) are the ones who actually strive to preserve fair, equal treatment of everyone, not unfair and non-equal access to our nation from illegal interlopers
3. Conservatives want laws to be enforced, not new laws drawn up to legitimize illegality
4. Conservatives value the job access of citizens over the job stealing by people who shouldn't be here
5. Conservatives want a good education for their children, not overcrowded classrooms buldging with the children of illegal immigrants
6. Conservatives want tens of billions spent on crumbling and over burdened infrastructure, not illegals
7. Conservatives want our healthcare system to gain relief from providing billions of unreimbursed services to people who do not belong on our soil
8. Conservatives do not want Al Quaida supporters to have access to our nation, along with upwards of 3 million other unknowns each year
9. Conservatives do not think single one parent and two job moms should have their salaries pirated by government intermediaries so that illegals can have all manner of services for free
10. Conservatives don't think anyone should have their salaries pirated so that illegals can have all manner of services for free
11. Conservatives expect their president to adhere to the United States Constitution. Paraphrased, "The president shall (not may, not might, not could), another words WILL protect the states against invasion." If upwards of three million illegal border crossings per year is not an invasion, then nothing could be. We only have 150,000 troops on the ground in Iraq. That was an invading force, seeking to free up the Iraqi people, just and honorable. with twenty times that many crossing our borders every year, year after year, people on this forum and in the White House refuse to acknowledge it is an invasion.

If Conservatives won't stand up against illegal immigration, then they truly won't take a stand on anything. And yes that includes Conservatism. Oh yes, they'll defend anything, support anything, fall for anything, but they won't stand up against evil.
Which is it pretenders? The rule of law or the abyss of lawlessness and evil?

I remember reading the posts on the klamath battle by yourself and Jeff Head. You're right that there are many here who manage to turn this forum from a conservative activist site into "the smokey backroom". Like you, I've given up on FR for serious activism, but I haven't given up outside of here. As was pointed out to me on a thread wherein it was shown that management here looks on fr as a "chatroom", you won't get far here if you want to actually engage in activism in the interests of conservatives. OTOH it's a great place to read a lot of articles from diverse places, and have "chatroom" style fun!
Before I realized this was just a chatroom, I would take time to research, copy, paste, and post all sorts of facts and figures to those who questioned me (you know,in reply to the bigot, racist, nazi, xenophobe comments). Then after compiling this detailed, fact filled post, took me maybe half an hour, in response to someone who questioned my data the reply was (not exact quote) "your post is too long I don't have time to read all that." Since then I've seen too many posts to count where someone was name-called for statements only to reply with cold hard statistics which were blatantly ignored by the pro-illegal lobby. I've freepmailed pro-Americans being flamed by the pro-illegals encouraging them to ignore the race baiting so we could try to encourage activism. It didn't work and the result is that something so important has been marginalized here on Fr. Oh well, guess that's why it's a chatroom.
You know, I appreciate what you're saying. On this topic, the facts just don't matter. It's a gutt thing. In their gutts, those who support illegal immigration think they are right, doing God's work.
When confronted with what massive illegal immigration has done to part of our nation, they are quite content to blame that part, completely ignoring that the federal government is responsible for protecting the states from invasion, specificly the president.
On this one you'll just have to adopt patience and see it through. It is very frustrating. I have lost it more than once.
The only alternative to heartburn on this topic, is to leave the forum. It's impossible to watch the antics of those who advocate for criminality, and remain silent.

Anyone with half a brain saw thru this post from the beginning. I thought I'd add a couple of comments warning others of the aim of this post.
It degenerated to "your mama" and innuendo about my 1_Inch_Group. Never actually replied to the content of the post...because the content was a smoke screen for the actual purpose. To piss of the few strong enough to stand and speak out...in an attempt to get them kicked off the forum.
Using familiar names like "pet"...etc. is also coming from that point....to piss people off. Which is why I responded to it. :)
Trust me, they don't want to find out why I picked that name....it involves my .45, a target, and a nice little tight pattern of bullet holes.
But, they have no arguement that makes sense...and by their actions, are getting a little worried that we're starting to make a difference in their happy little world.

I have to wonder if some of these people employ undocumented workers, because for the life of me I don't understand how you can be in favor of being overrun by another country's problem.
99% of posters here can debate most any topic without resorting to name calling. Sure, the discussions get heated, but most of the time people act like grownups.
I emailed Tom Tancredo last year, and he actually mailed me a letter. I'm thinking of emailing President Bush with my concerns about this issue. I don't know if it will do any good, but what the heck.
