I had a pair of cockatiels, once, but I had to move unexpectedly, and they were left behind. If I had it to do over again, I would have kept them.

I love their chatter and their interaction. I would never have just one. My sister has an African Gray parrot, who will outlive her by many years. I think he is 11 or 12, now. According to the will, he is going to her daughter as his life-span is about 70 years.
