True, but one has to consider other things, as well.
If Michael Moore were to choose to immolate himself ... Well, heavy water is expensive, Man!
I was considering our discussion of the risks of meteorite puncture of the hull and the subsequent air-loss.
What say we strip out those old fuel tanks we used for the turbo-jet engines, and put in some high-strength spherical chambers for compressed air storage?
Even without drastic loss, we'll need make-up air for normal leakage and air-lock operations.
"(There is a small hole in this theory, though.)"
It may be from your view, but to me, it makes perfect sense. (WHOA!! Did I say that???)
[Maybe my brems are working better today than I thought...]

Here we go with the double posts again...*tearing hair out*
I was having posting troubles again, but I'm back now.
Just wrapped up "Center of the Sun" by Conjure One (lyrics below).
Link here then click on one of the orange headphone buttons for a sample.
Young girl in the market Music to the men When the men leave Her eyes are red When her eyes are closed again She sees a dark market of a violin And she sings They say the most horrible things But I hear violins When I close my eyes I am at the center of the sun And I cannot be hurt by anything This wicked world has done Young boy in the market Follows all the men When the men leave Hes out of his head When his eyes are closed again He sees a dark market of a violin And he sings They break the most beautiful things But I hear violins When I close my eyes I am at the center of the sun And I cannot be hurt by anything This wicked world has done I look into your eyes And I am at the center of the sun And I cannot be hurt By anything this wicked world has done I am at the center of the sun. Young boy in the market Sees the girl alone And asks her Have you lost your way home? She sings You say the most beautiful things Just like my violins I look into your eyes I am at the center of the sun And I cannot be hurt By anything this wicked world has done When I close my eyes I am at the center of the sun And I cannot be hurt By anything this wicked world has done Cause I hear violins I hear violins I hear violins I hear violins I am at the center of the sun. I hear violins.
Some of my top-rated tracks include songs by Armin Van Buren, Coldplay, DJ Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Eiffel 65, Ferry Cortsen, and The Cranberries.
I'm not tearing my hear out... but I do need a hair cut in the near future.
We've all had the posting problems...some of them are still going...LOL!
Are you taking a break from studying?
Well, kind of... I'm working on something while I'm online. LOL!
Thanks! I tried but got an error message, saying it wasn't available. Must be a lot of people listening to it...
Get Winston to help...he just sits there acting kinda fishy, anyway...
;-)
Methinks you aren't giving them enough credit.
The catch that struck me was the server that gets told "this post is #12345" when it only holds up to #12340. What does it display for 12341..12344? But then again, this may be so rare I simply haven't observed it. After all, I've rarely seeing any offset greater than "post N+1 of N".
Ah, HA!! Another indication of the problem of very long threads. It takes the machine longer to run a linear search from the beginning to find the very end.
Some days, things make sense to me, and some days, they don't. It happens that your explanation was simple enough (or I was aware enough) for me to understand the concept.
I think there has been a lag of as much as four posts the last two days. Even refreshing hasn't helped.
Hmmmm. It should have opened a window and begun streaming the audio to you. Maybe you've got to have your own LAUNCHcast station set up before you are allowed to sample other peoples' stations. I have two separate Yahoo ID's with a station set up for each of them and I can listen to either one no matter which ID I Sign In under.
Try this: Sign into your Yahoo, then navigate to music.yahoo.com and look for the "Create Station" link near the top right under the heading "RADIO". You'll be instructed how to set up your own LAUNCHcast station for streaming playback.
There isn't TOO much to know about it; it's fairly simple but this is KEY: On the "Genres" page, mark everything you DON'T want to listen to as "Never Play". Leave the genres you DO want to hear UNRATED. Then leave it at that and just rate each song as LAUNCHcast serves it up for you. NOTE: Among the Options you have is a choice between a 0 to 100 rating scale and a five level scale. I like the 0 to 100 scale, myself.
It's pretty much that simple and you'll have a place to go on-line for the music you like most. Oh, yeah, there ARE commercials and you can avoid them if you want to pay out $3 or $4 a month; I just turn down the volume for 60 seconds.
I tried the streaming audio thing once, but my dial up connection is t-o-o s-l-o-w.
OK...I got it...now how the HECK do I turn it off?
LOL!
Never mind...I did it...some things are easy and some are not quite so. But I still manage to function...;o]
