And no, I'm feeling, right about now, EXACTLY as my screen name would suggest...

Hope you didn't get what we had through the west coast a while ago?
Did you get a cold that went into a soar throat and end up as a sinus infection and upper respiratory problems?
It was a huge bug and I had to go on my first antibiotics in ten years to get over it.

I'm sorry to hear that, DC. I had the same thing right before Christmas.
Crown Royal works wonders. :)

Exactly. 102 is the highest my temp has been. Partly due to an EXTRA hot soak in the tub. ;-) Pulling out all the stops trying to loosen up the congestion in my lungs. Including a hot mustard plaster.

It'd be great, if I actually had any CR... I wonder if scotch would work equally as well...

I have always wanted to learn gaelic, but for that one I would have to take classes...
Just figuring out the spelling system is a challenge... Classes are definitely required. We were lucky in having an excellent teacher in Seattle.
The orthography of Gaelic is a lot easier than it looks. It is very regular, and is phonetic to boot.

My doctor (who I play tennis with) said to first try Robitussin-DM for a day or two and that if it didn't break up and get better fast, go on the antibiotics.
So based on that, I'd try a form of DM, but if this upper respitory thing doesn't get better over two days, get the antibiotics.
Have to watch it, it is very contageous (watch the baby), and has killed adults.
You may not be able to ignore this one and get better.

Is there an equivalent of "Scrooge" for Halloween? If so, I'm it! Yes they are the ones who start forty-billion threads in October on how if you give candy to kids wearing sheets you are going straight to hell.
Somehow I can't seem to see you in that category.

All kidding aside, DC, CAG is right. This bug, whatever it is, is serious.
My boss had it, and the doctor put him on antibiotics.
A neighbor of my boss got it, and had to go to the hospital.
The hospital said Leigonaires, and it came from the mold in the leaves.

I grew up speaking Spanish so Latin was a natural for me. Dad insisted that a truly educated person knew at least the basics of Latin and Greek.
Alas I am only half educated as the Greek has long since flown away, (save a few choice insults that I used to call my brother).
Do they even offer Latin in school anymore?
