I keep it for cooking, but I also have to have some for my ketchup-eating friends. My kids both love the stuff...where did I go wrong???
I make enough typos here to last a lifetime...I don't catch them until I've posted, even though I try to be so careful!
LOL!
I keep it but I don't use it.
You didn't go wrong with kids liking it. I think it's a genetic thing.
They got the propensity from their dad, then. I didn't even like it when I was a kid!
I love tomatoes, too. We had a garden when I was growing up, and we had the best tomatoes in town. My sister and I would take a salt shaker and go out under the tarp, lean up against a tomato stake, and eat tomatoes.
And I love tomato sandwiches! Tomato, salt, mayo and white bread. The only time I eat bread...
And to this day, I cannot pick a tomato from a vine, as it will break me out up to my armpits. :o[
Allergic to the fruit or just sensitive to the plants.
I itch like I have fleas when I pick either tomatoes or beans but I can eat them. I think it's the hairy things on the vines.
A tomato fresh off the vine and still hot from the sun is a slice of heaven.
Well, it tends to ooze out of the sandwich and attack.
I mix the mayo and the mustard in an 80/20 composition and then add the garlic.
Most people look at it and go "yuck!"
Just sensitive to the plants.
"A tomato fresh off the vine and still hot from the sun is a slice of heaven." Yessim! You are definitely right about that!
I tend to wander around at random.
*sigh*
Will have to head to bed soon.
:(
GARLIC?? What other ingreedamints are in it?
Coolbeans.
Sounds good to me! I use Dijon mustard for most stuff, but I gotta have the mayo. No "Miracle Whip" for ME! The only whip around here is the one on the cuckoo clock! And garlic makes most good things taste better.
Except for chocolate, of course...
Hey, you!
I've missed you!
Come and sit by me and tell me how much you love me. ;o]
Yepper...it's getting to be bedtime for me, too.
Roast beef, four to six slices depending upon thickness, and two slices of provolone cheese.
The Mayo and the mustard are mixed in an 80/20 composition, and the garlic is sprinkled over it.
Then it is smeared over the layers before the sandwich halves are slapped together.
Ah, Face of Monkey!! How can a mere mortal express the deepness of my love for you? Words are merely tools of the wordsmith. But the love I have for you transcends mere mortal prattle.
How am I doin?
I only use miracle whip for making salad dressing.
(Almost typed 'slaad'..)
Garlic and chocolate don't mix.
Also doesn't mix with my coffee or tea.
