I believe a better use of your free time - now that the Dems/libs are in the descendancy - would be to monitor the takeover of your party by George Soros and company.

If you are unaware of Soros' background - you would do well to investigate it and put a stop to the destruction of the LOYAL OPPOSITION --(that's your party)

Kindest wishes.

Do you understand the monetary differences between government charity and church based charity? Also do you understand the government laws for running a non-church based charity in America relating the budgets of the charities?

Submit you answers. It is an open book exam. Please no liberal sources for your footnotes.

Which civil liberties of yours have been eroded?

Are your children unable to freely exercise their religion at school?

Is your civil right to keep and bear arms being threatened by restrictive municipal and state statutes?

Quite frankly I hear again and again that civil rights are being "eroded" when I've never had a self-described liberal give me a single example of such an erosion.

Additionally, what "wild" activities do corporations engage in that need to be "tamed"?

Maybe you are not a liberal and just don't know it. When I met my wife 8yrs ago she thought she was a liberal. Then she got interested in politics and social issues and quickly determined that she was very far from being a liberal.

Do you want to tame the power of government to bring about so-called "social justice"?

Humor me... This is my little gauge to determine where a liberal political enthusiast stands:

Who do you think killed John F. Kennedy?

Hope this helps ease your pain and fulfill your search.
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798

"[N]either the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. He therefore is the truest friend of the liberty of his country who tries most to promote its virtue, and who, so far as his power and influence extend, will not suffer a man to be chosen onto any office of power and trust who is not a wise and virtuous man." Samuel Adams

"Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles." Patrick Henry

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure if we have removed their only firm basis: a conviction in the minds of men that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever."- Thomas Jefferson

"We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."- James Madison

"The Bill of Rights stills shines in all of its splendor, but many Americans are looking the other way. Many Americans have drifted back to that old concept of government that our forefathers feared and rejected. Many Americans are now looking to government for security. Many Americans are no longer willing to accept personal responsibility for their own welfare.Yet personal freedom cannot exist without individual responsibility."- Dean Russell
As we get back to those principles as a people, we shall be empowered to make headway against the issues of the day.

U.S. corporations are the reason you have such a high standard of living compared to most people in this world. For those on the liberal side, they are the evil powers in this country and they should be "tamed" or brought to there knees and be made to hand over there profits to everyone with there hand out.

I agree...let's not rush to summary judgment and declare a ZOT alert w/o justification. An open mind is the beginning of wisdom, and conversation illuminates the path...

Well, I like money. I like to "buy stuff."

And I'm not going to wait for the government to "catch" me and buy it for me.

Hi...at least you are willing to hear other opinions, that's good. You will get lots of stuff thrown at you here, some good and some not so good. We think that people should make it on their own, they might need a hand up once in a while but not a deades long hand out. We think gov should stay in DC, it only messes most things up that it tries to help...Like LBJ taking from the Social Security fund to give to the poor, now there won't be social security for the rest of us that worked to have the gov TAKE our money, because they think we aren't smart enough to save for retirement. We don't really care what Europe thinks of us, but we think they should be worried about what we think of them! Like next time they need their butts saved, don't call us, we'll call you. We think that there should be Christ in Christmas and in the schools if the kids so choose. We don't think the schools should raise our kids, that they don't have the right to decide when sex education is taught or how or what. We don't think the gov has the right to decide that underage girls can get an abortion without parent's consent when they can't ecen get their ears pierced without a guardian there and signing for it. That's just a bit about what most of us think...there's plenty more, if you stick around long enough you'll get the picture.

So, none of your civil liberties has been eroded, but you're complaining about your civil liberties being eroded?

I better worry about quitting smoking today, because SOMEDAY....I might start.
