You should go back and read his posts. He did not "blame the victim". He suggested an alternate course of action that in hindsight seemed the more prudent. Other FReepers familiar with that area and hunter conduct felt that was unrealistic.
Making assumptions and jumping to the worst conclusions is what put this thread on the crash track, let's not add fuel to the fire, OK?

What is that if it is not blaming the victim?
Of course there is no way he could know if the victim had good people skills or not but that is what he said.
