S/he posted an opinion that the people who were murdered should have called the authorities first, and let them handle things.
Conventional Thead Wisdom is that the authorities would never have gotten there in time, so the best action would've been to train their gun on him and order him out at the point of that gun. Then they would have been safe.
So, the prevailing approach appears to involve questioning CD's outdoors hunting experience and qualifications, and threatening him with a zot by the VKs and a full banning.
That's what I get out of it anyway.

I question his ability to know that "If they had just called the police everything would have been fine"
Not a logical position. Especially considering that the murderer hunted down and shot eight people, seven which were unarmed.
