apparently none of us here were there. and i wouldnt bet my life.. but anyone who would have heard our conversation would know as i do that the mgrs lips said no but his eyes said yes. he really didnt try to hide it.. we both spoke of the incident as if it were in fact true. i cant relate all the back and forth and wiggles and intonations of the conversation. that would be complicated beyond my writing skills so i dont mind if some doubt my conclusion.
but if you cant believe my judgment ask this: the mgr told me, as many on this thread reported, at first they were only responding to calls with a "no comment". "no comment" isnt an appropriate answer to a question regarding something that didnt happen. if someone asked me if i were an accomplice of o.j. simpson the night he killed his wife i sure wouldnt say "no comment", lol. perhaps the "no comment" was the default before the manager called the owner and was instructed to deny they rudeness occured. but that is just my speculation
.
this lib board has been getting a lot of heat from Freepers: http://www.thomasjlang.com/archives/000348.html
if this was making liberals angry, this restrant fax would be recieving a plain sheet of black paper.
-DNS on their website.
-health department complaints (bribes can get expensive)
-networks doing health/cleanliness tabloid type stories.
-ACLU jumping to the rescue.
and not one liberal would give the restraunt business or money.
Unlike the majority on this board, I totally believe it happened and I believe some in the restaurant, probably not all, cheered it. But it's yesterday's news...the girls will go on.
