Now I am even more proud of The University of Oklahoma and University of Nebraska fans that booed Tom Brokaw last Saturday night when it was announced he was at the game! It truly was priceless!
Imagine he can get a table at this restaurant with no problem!

It truly was priceless I'm wth ya. Also did you know that these two states plus Utah were the only ones were there was NO blue from any county. The "okienebutes" states. Way to go!

I missed that. Not surprising though, since Oklahoma and Nebraska were two of the three states where every county was "red". Go Big Red, take your pick. :) ) They were also #2 and #3 in the percent of the statewide vote for Bush. Utah was #1, the Utes really, really didn't like Kerry for some odd reason.. :)

As an Oklahoman that wishes Oklahoma could find a reason for existence or validation beyond OU football, if what you report is true, that was not a proud day for Oklahoma or Nebraska. Brokaw is the only MSM anchor that comes close to getting things right. He certainly got things right about the WWII Generation.
I love to sleep all day on Saturdays, holding my wife of 26 years, oblivious to OU, OSU, or TU football. It's wonderful.
One "OU Magic" moment for me was in the late '80s. My boss who, along with his young sons, always wore "Crimson & Cream" every fall Saturday, joked about the scandal of co-ed rape in the athletic dorm. "He must have split her open", he said. This was the same time OU athletes/criminals were firing weapons indiscriminately from the athletic dorm in Norman.
Remember those hallowed days? The fall of "COACH/GOD 'S'"??
I'm raising girls, and don't worship these "folks".

I'm thrilled to hear that. That along with the election results should be quite humbling to the MSM.
