"This may well be another bogus story. I hope we can find out and, if it is bogus, stop spreading rumors."

You are talking like Kerry: "And if it is true ..." that the white house made a secret deal with the Saudis....

This article is posted FYI. I did not write it.

If you are concerned that it is incorrect, then research it and post what you find. I have found the AFA to be very reliable and accurate, even if I do not agree with every single position they take.

AFA is a sizable operation. If they were spreading false information, I am certain P&G would be filing lawsuits already. Maybe they will anyway.

The supporting details are available at www.afa.net .

Here is a list of P&G homo-support activities from the AFA:

(Is this enough, O Modernman and Mineralman - btw, are you really two different people?)

A Short Track Record On P&G's Promotion of Homosexuality
Procter & Gamble created and ran an ad that showed two men (in fuzzy focus at top center of the ad) in bed after an apparent sexual encounter. The ad leaves the impression that homosexual sex is normal, thrilling and exciting, and was run in a homosexual publication called Xtra. See the ad at http://www.pgboycott.com/pgcommercialcloset.pdf

P&G recently wrote to their Cincinnati employees urging them to support the repeal of a city law that forbids giving special rights to homosexuals. In 1993, the citizens in Cincinnati adopted the law by a vote of 62% to 38%. P&G is now working to get that law repealed and has given $10,000 toward that goal.

P&G regularly supports pro-homosexual media with advertising. According to the pro-homosexual Internet news site 365Gay.com, "Procter & Gamble has been a long time supporter of the gay community. It has one of the strongest workplace equality policies among American companies and is a frequent advertiser in the LGBT media, including 365Gay.com"

At the request of homosexual activist groups, P&G dropped advertising support for television talk show host, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, because of her politically incorrect view that homosexuality is wrong. http://davidsisler.com/06-10-2000.htm

Procter & Gamble is a major corporate sponsor of the annual Cincinnati Pride (homosexual) event celebrating homosexuality. http://www.cincypride.com

P&G has given $10,000 to Citizens to Restore Fairness, a political homosexual activist group. The co-leader of the campaign is a P&G corporate executive. http://www.pgboycott.com/PGContributions.pdf

P&G supports an employee network group called GABLE (Gay and Bi-Sexual, Lesbian Employees of Procter & Gamble).

P&G's benefits program includes domestic partnership benefits for same-sex partners. Andrea Adkins of Dayton, a P&G employee for over 20 years, said that the company’s decision to offer domestic partner benefits will be a "very influential for other large typically conservative companies. People do look to Procter & Gamble as an example," Adkins said. http://www.pg.com/canada/diversit.htm

P&G sponsors the annual “Out & Equal Workplace Advocates” workplace summits. Out and Equal is a homosexual advocacy organization promoting homosexuality in major companies. http://www.outandequal.org/pdf/2003-06.pdf

P&G was named by PlanetOut as a top 20 company to work for based on their pro-homosexual support and benefits. http://www.planetout.com/pno/money/article.html?sernum=308
WARNING: This site contains photos that depict homosexual physical contact.

In 2004, the Human Rights Campaign gave P&G a score of 86 percent in a Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI rates large American businesses on how they are treating gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, consumers and investors. Click Here

I have already done that. As I said earlier, I could find nothing on either of the sites that bore any resemblance to the information in the post. This smells of hoax to me. The AFA may well be a fine organization, but I do believe they have erred in this story.

You can go to the sites, yourself. You'll find what I found: nothing resembling the accusations in this post.
