A 24-foot-long ''Go Bush" banner hanging on a pizza shop across from the FleetCenter has drawn plenty of attention amid preparations for the Democratic National Convention this week. But yesterday, a city inspector stopped by and slapped Halftime Pizza with a citation for hanging an unlicensed banner.

You know what the problem is here?
This thread will degenerate into a flame war over the Uncle Sam graphic, and we will ignore the issue of the possible violation of this guy's constitutional rights.
No wonder we can't get anything done in this country!

Don't insult the USA like this. It is not appropriate.
You are entitled to your opinion; however, I have to support his freedom to post the picture.

For this type of infraction, in our town the Zoning Official issues a citation that gives the property owner 10 days to remove the violation. If the violation continues, then a summons is issued.
Does anyone know what the law is in Boston for this situation? I's not talking about politicians sending officials in to intimidate and threaten someone considered to be embasassing to the politicians,

I saved the link to that graphic from an FR thread right after the attacks on the WTC.
It was posted there, along with many others.
Yeah, you;re right, in its original context, it could have been interpreted as "kill the (muslim) pigs".

Surfing the news channels last night, Halftime Pizza has gotten a lot of national press! HP, may have to buy a bigger place soon. I think business will BOOM! Hope so!

I agree with the point the poster graphic makes regarding the expression of Free Speech. On the other hand, I deplore very deeply, and condemn, the hate lyrics of rap music.
To: Luis Gonzalez
So you changed the context of the graphic to fit
your sick humor.

I have to agree with TallHappy. I don't think posts like that are appropriate to FR.

I thought that was a pretty cool graphic, kinda reminds me of those old T-shirts saying Hey Iran and showed Mickey mouse giving the finger!!! I don't think giving the finger is appropriate like that -- especially on a forum like this on an important topic.
Look, the first thing is a big graphic of someone, Uncle Sam no less -- giving the finger???!!
This is Howard Stern stuff. This is the stuff of Clinton's America and their devalued morals and decorum.

He was on the Howie Carr show yesterday, via cell phone, walking towards the 19th hole.
He said he even gave office space in his building to the mayor for free last mayoral election.
People called in from CO to buy a pizza. "Charge my card and give it to the next homeless..."
He claimed he's on his way to Canada to golf for the duration. "They didn't chase me out of the city, they chased me out of the state."

Liberal Uncle Sam might.
People like you are going to make us lose this war. You are no different than the liberals but don't understand it.
It's OK. Have your empty fun.
