Suspicious Packages Found At Tinker Air Force Base
Two Buildings Evacuated; Traffic Still Being Allowed At Eaker Gate

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- Officials were investigating two suspicious packages found Tuesday morning near Eaker Gate at Tinker Air Force Base.
Authorities told Eyewitness News 5 that two packages were sent to Building 1 and Building 23 on the north side of base. Both buildings were evacuated and the entrances to both buildings were closed.
Military officials and Midwest City first-responders were on the scene investigating the packages late Tuesday morning. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were also investigating the packages.

From a local news channel, it appears that the FBI are at Tinker AFB, along with fire and hazmat crews to determine exactly what the package is.
