Bomb Squad Called To Abandoned Airport Facility
Testing Devices Found At Scene
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus fire department's bomb squad was dispatched to a cargo facility near Port Columbus International Airport Thursday where items were found that resembled grenades, a pipe bomb, and dynamite.
The items later were determined as "testing devices," NewsChannel 4's Elizabeth Scarborough reported.
Workers were reportedly cleaning out an old America West airline cargo warehouse when they came across what authorities said were a fake grenade and fake bombs.

Chemical Spill Prompts Vapor Cloud At Ky. Plant
CARROLLTON, Ky. -- A chemical spill at the Dow Corning plant near Carrollton has been contained.
The spill happened just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday, WLKY NewsChannel 32 reported.
According to plant officials, there was an "accidental vapor liquid release" that prompted a cloud to move across the northeast boundary of the plant. Fortunately, according to the officials, that vapor never left the company grounds.
U.S. 42 was closed, but is now back open, WLKY reported.
No injuries were reported, but residents were still being advised to stay indoors.
