The camera angle gives the illusion Padre Pio celebrated that Mass facing the people. In fact he did not. The camera was allowed at the side of the altar.
Padre Pio celebrated only one transitional Mass in the mid 60s. He broke down and wept. He was given a dispensation to continue saying the Old Mass. He died a few years later.

If you read anything about Padre Pio you would've known that during his Masses, which lasted 2-3 hours, he frequently broke into tears - for whatever reasons, none of them being the Vat.2. or women without hats.

ZING!
Hey, you guys just keep shooting these guys' false arguments and lies down as fast as they set 'em up. How mean! Why don't you go write some poetry instead? THAT would stand up for the truth much better wouldn't it?

This is true as documented by witnesses and a number of biographies. The Novus Ordo spin was that Padre Pio was too old and sick to say the Novus Ordo...What a laugh. He was a spiritual Master and could recognize instantly what was not an organic development of the Mass but cheap imitation which strictly follows Protestant communion service rubrics. During his canonization time two years ago, people were quick to note that he got a special dispensation to continue saying his private Mass according to the Tridentine Missal. In fact, I was shocked that Pope John Paul II canonized him, truly, it is a slap in the face to the new Mass and neo-Catholicism. Padre Pio was a confessor extraordinare, and he got canonized in a time nearly nobody goes to confession anymore. I think the message from the Pope and from Padre Pio is this: "Perform the Mass reverently (as Padre Pio did) and go to confession!"
