... But since you asked, my mother was RC, my father was Jewish. They were married in the RC Church with a Papal Dispensation in which my father agreed to allow the children to be raised Catholic. In point of fact we attended both Catholic and Jewish services and when we reached majority we were allowed to choose. Our oldest brother chose agnostic and married a Methodist. Our next oldest brother chose RC and married RC. Both sisters became Episcopals and married same (don't know how that came about other than my sisters liked the clothes better). Our other brother remained Jewish and married Jewish. I remained Jewish at my grandfather's wish and married Catholic. Our oldest son married Greek Orthodox and our daughter married Unitarian. I don't believe everyone in the extended family has chosen what faith they wish to observe. I am satisfied that they are Americans first and that the ones who are not do not hate Americans...just maybe in-laws like everyone else in the world.
So he has a Jewish father, who was married to a Catholic woman - by special dispensation from the Pope. The Pope also seems to have the authority to declare him Jewish (in real life, the Pope has declared scum like him anathema). Notice also how deftly he slips in one of the staples of raw antisemitism - the question of dual loyalty. Confused? Just wait until the next episode of "Harrowup's life" :).

I have always championed the use of nuclear weapons as an apprpriate response to wise-guys simply because some day they're going to get it together and use it on us. The next time some damn zealot screams Allah Akbar I say shove a p32 up his ass and send him home to papa...along with a good chunk of his neighborhood.
