Asa Hutchinson on John and Ken, KFI640 (Live Thread)
The John and Ken Show (KFI 64.0, Los Angeles) | truthkeeper

Posted on 07/08/2004 4:08:45 PM PDT by truthkeeper

After being inundated with calls from L.A. listeners, Asa Hutchinson has agreed to go on the show. He's on right now, so be there or be square. Will try to type the good stuff while I listen.

I could care less waht you think I am.

I am, and there isn't a thing in the world you can do about it.

Typical tactic of the left.Attack the person and don't address what the person says. So what about all of the crime illegal invaders commit? Not an issue?

Amazing how some people get all worked up about crime only when it's committed by foreigners.

What about all of the social services that get sucked dry by illegals?

Interesting. Your complaint is not about government largesse towards anyone; your complaint is that the social services are somehow being "sucked dry."

Oh, I could only wish such happy tidings would come to pass.

What about the hospitals that close because of non paying illegals?

Name one.

What about the disaster in the public schools because of illegals?

Actually, the disaster in the public schools is traceable to the California Teachers' Association, one of the most rabidly-liberal special interest groups in the state.

Not important issues? Not something we here in California should be concerned about? We shouldn't be DISGUSTED the federal governments lack of concern for the will of the actual American people over the wishes of FOX?

The will of Californians, as expressed at the ballot box over the decades, speaks much more loudly than your mere words ever could. Given that the California electorate sends two of the most rabidly liberal Seantors and 33 of the most rabidly liberal representatives to Washington, California doesn't have a right to complain one damn bit. Hell, Barbara Boxer makes both Kerry and Edwards look conservative, and Feinstein's on a par with Edwards. We've gotten what we've asked for. We've made our bed, now we're complaining about it.

Why?

Because you say so?

You have only bitterness and hate.

What does that make you?

The pride I have is so far above anything you can comprehend, that it boggles your twisted mind.

Proposition 187 is an anomaly against an otherwise solidly pro-illegal-alien voting record.

Kindly note that the same electorate that passed 187 sent Feinstein back to the Senate, and re-elected local officials who have specifically forbidden their local law enforcement agencies from cooperating with the Border Patrol and INS.

Amazing how California simultaneously passed Proposition 187 and re-elected Dianne "Give sanctuary to illegal aliens" Feinstein. Amazing how California simultaneously passed Proposition 187 and re-elected local officials who had forbidden their law enforcement agencies from cooperating with the INS.

Widescale voter fraud... just ask B-1 Bob Dornan. GOP never rallied to help investigate. Weak GOP in California, but they did something right... I was a Reagan Democrat, till I realised that meant I needed to be a Republican.

You may not be able to grasp this, but most of the posters at Free Republic didn't vote for the 2 Ca senators.Do you realize that we a minority in California?Do you realize the the federal government, under a Republican everything, is doing nothing that could be considered conservative with regards to illegals? You defend illegals as if they were your family. There would be less crime if illegal alien invaders weren't here wouldn't there? Not sure what you are after.A free pass for a failing policy on illegals?Defense of anything with an R?What is it?Do you understand how dumb your arguments sound to any real American citizens living in SoCA?Are you some party guy and will see no wrong with the party?Have you ever been to SoCA?

Luis, you made this clear claim: "The illegal alien issue is created by the left so that the Buchanan right defects from the GOP." I asked you to provde evidence of this. You haven't yet.

The left didn't create "the illegal alien issue". It is legitimate for all good people of this country to not want illegal aliens in their country. However, in this case, the left may be exacerbating the situation. If you look at the people who seem to have initiated both sides of this specific incident, you will see people who very well may be connected to the left.

On one side you have Joe Baca and other liberal Democrat politicians who are complaining that these sweeps need to be stopped because they depend on racial profiling.

On the other side of this incident you have union President Joseph N. Dassaro who is president of Local 1613 of the National Border Partrol Coucil, a division of the American Federation of Government Employees, which is the largest federal employees union in the country. He is defending these sweeps by his union members in a department whose agency head has been sick and out of work for some time.

Caught in the middle you have Asa and his CIC boss who are damned if they do and damned if they don't and it's right before election time.

JMO.

LOL. When given the clear choice to vote on the issue directly, over 60% CALIFORNIANS (nearly 40% of them hispanics) voted to cut their benefits - in essence, they voted against illegal immigration.

A federal judge threw their votes out.Nothing you or Luis says can hide that fact.
