That's funny. In tenth grade I got to play Dracula in a school farce called "Out for the Count" that was full of dreadful lines like: "Guess who's coming to dinner?" "Sidney Poitier?" *cue groans from audience*... and it was ALL that bad. I got the role of Dracula because it was an all-girls' school and because I could do a cheesy Transylvanian accent.
