Computers have always been the problem. They were my major, I ought to know... *\;-)

Cross ping back to the original UT.

I took one computer science course when I was in college (in 1976). Whenever I get a new CS student out of grad school, I have to spend 1 to 2 years "unlearning" them of the idiotic nonsense they were taught.

Slow, bad approach, seeing the solution before the problem - TAKING THE CLIENT'S WORD ABOUT WHAT IS NEEDED -- The worst thing you can do to someone is give them a CS degree (unless they are writing Operating Systems or something)

"But I mean that in a good way."

ah... old-school IT... the memories...

Is it plugged in?

Is it turned on?

are you sure?

Ok, it seems i have located the problem - it is somewhere between the monitor and the back of the operator's chair.

RTFM

UTSL

your wires kinked - the "0"s can get through, but the "1"s are getting jammed up....
