To: A CA Guy

Nope. It has to acquire the scanner before I can do anything with it. I thought maybe the program from Wal-Mart for photos might have messed with it, but I don't know, now. Maybe I should uninstall the Wal-Mart program, then reinstall the scanner program?

You should be abke to save a file from the scanner program anyway, try

File
Save As and see what happens.

Could be you need to re-install that program.

The other thing that is easy is to aquire an image from within another running program, like a drawing program or photo program.

Paint is to basic, doesn't have that option.
