As I was saying before you interupted me...... John Denver was a very talented singer/songwriter. His sensitivity to the beauty natural world around him shined through in his work. His was a candle that was snuffed out far, far too soon. He will be sorely missed but his work lives on in our hearts and minds.
To acknowledge your argument would be lower the level of discourse to the excremental. To acknowledge your humanity would be to lower the level of evolution to the Neanderthal. To acknowledge that you are worthy of consuming oxygen would to lower environmental standards to 19th century Manchester. In other words, be quiet.
But, shouldn't Christopher Hitchens really be the final arbiter of which impersonation is a more reasonable facsimile of his personality?

Ivan, I know you missed it, but there was a Nightline episode during the Diana divorce where he dressed down a Royalist by referring to her as a "trailer park princess".
It was classic Hitchens. He rolled around like a pinball--then boom, hits the target.
