The South today looks great. Don't mistake my comments about neo-confederates and klansmen with my thoughts about the South. I also don't have issue with those who are proud of their ancestors or their fight in the Civil War. That is different from those that want to "Free dixie" today. My posts are against the fringe elements that deny slavery as the primary cause, not the only one, but the primary cause of the civil war.
The Muslim countries of today that have slavery are what these people would want for the South. Their hollow posts about slavery naturally fading away, and that it wasn't that bad, notwithstanding. To give credence to that attitude is to tacitly acknowledge racial superiority rather than merits of character and action.

I don't doubt that there are some who have a racial agenda as far supporting the confederacy is concerned. However, after my own research and interaction with people, there are plenty of racists who support the American flag. I'm sure that you know the British outlawed slavery before the United States, and that alone doomed the slave trade to the US so the WBTS just hastened the inevitable.

I will submit to you that the only places where slavery disappeared were the nations dominated by western european christians. Hence, that's why you see slavery continued to this day in muslim run countries.
