You were just a little off when you enlarged the woman that you thought was me. I am at the very top of the screen, my head kind of cut off, and in front of me is a man in a suit and tie. To the left to me is a woman in a white coat standing on the bleacher.

I had a better seat earlier in the show, but I got up to talk to a friend and take Travis Tritt's picture and someone took my seat so I ended up in the nose bleed section.

It was freezing cold, and I mean bone chilling cold that reminded me of opening night in Olympic stadium. If it wasn't May I would have worn fur, and some women wore sandals. I don't know how they survived.

The speech was excellent and the crowd was huge. If someone said 10,000, that would be about right.

We had one heckler who started screaming "Bush Lied, you lied about the war". I don't know if they showed it on TV, but some old veterans took him down to the ground. It was fantastic.

I had a nice time and met some nice people. My section was mostly state senators and reps, and then a couple rows down were the US Congresspeople. I met some freepers who I gave tickets to, and await their impressions of the evening.

Thanks for your report. Being cold compensated by being able to joyfully scream & jump now & then - keeps the blood moving. So happy you got to be part of the event. I went to bed early & am up early...

How is all going with eyesight? I have thought a lot about what you wrote about your ordeal. Isn't God marvelous?

I woke up this morning thinking about your phone-picture sent early on this thread.

You should suggest to the GOP that they put a Freeper (YOU!) on future bus tours...complete with digital camera, laptop and internet connection! Just imagine having regular, unfiltered reports right from the bus!

I could barely hear the guy, but I knew it was a heckler. Bush looked over there toward the heckler, grinning real brightly, and then gave a thumbs up. I think he was giving the thumbs up when the heckler got tackled. LOL

Meanwhile, the CSPAN camera stayed trained on W.

I have to say that the crowd's reaction to the heckler being tackled down was priceless too! Signs waving and the crowd erupting into cheers!
