Decpetive. During the Presidencies of Bush I and Reagan, we had a Cold War military. Look at the defense spending numbers. Non-discretionary spending under Bush II is higher than under X-42, Bush I, and Reagan. These are disgraceful numbers for a conservative President.

Thank you Peach,for the information.

My goal is not to win an argument,get one up on a fellow poster.I find no joy in this.

Those of us who will vote for Bush ,some with regret,resentment,anger at one policy over another,others wholeheartedly,not really bothered enough to worry about his faults,others enthusiastically,though concerned about spending, illegal immigration,CFR or others must keep our eye on the ball.

We do not want a democrat in the White House and think Kerry ,the lefty liberal,hypocrite would be a disaster as CIC,appointer of judges,budget maker.

Let's recognize we don't all agree on the reasons,but cannot tolerate the results of a Bush loss.
