Dear Freepers
In this crucial election year, we are seeing that some conservatives are irresponsibly attacking President Bush in very aggressive way. By doing so, they are helping the Democrats and this is not acceptable at all. In this crucial time of our history, where we are fighting the war on terror, it is extremely important that we stay firmly united behind President Bush. We simply cannot afford as a nation to have a Democrat in the White House, it will be a disaster for America. Thus, I would like to ask you my friends who love President Bush and want to see him re-elected to stop attacking him and think about the big picture. Also, I would like to ask you to personally send e-mails to any conservative journalist, radio host, or TV host who is attacking President Bush or harshly criticizing him and ask them not to do so. I already e-mailed Mr. Joe Scarborough from MSNBC asking him to stop attacking President Bush as he has been doing lately. I send an e-mail to Mr. Bob Novak asking him to tell the truth about the ultra left liberal John Kerry rather than put down President Bush as he did in his latest articles. I sent an e-mail to NewsMax asking them to retrieve my name from their e-mail news alert list because I disagree with the way they are attacking President Bush lately. Any article posted on Free Republic and that is bashing President Bush for not being conservative enough should not get any traction or responses. If we do not respond to them, then they will eventually stop posting such irresponsible articles. We must work hard in toning down the rhetoric of some of our conservative friends. We love them very much, we respect them very much, but their anger is hurting us all in this crucial election year. Please let us do so, for the sake of this great nation.
Sincerely yours; JVERITAS
This has been very painful for me to see this forum go through such turmoil. But in the end, the negative people who lost their privileges, will be back once we win the election, of not, then that would be even better.
A new element of positive people will replace those who have plagued this forum in the past. The negative types will have to learn to change their very nature or else stay away.
The prospect of them gathering strength in numbers on Liberty Post are more than ZERO because Americans are sick and tired of all the negativity coming from both sides and are repelled by it.
To all the faithful FReepers on this forum, take heart, once the real campaign starts and the President counters the negative press, America will stand behind him. He has real and true character and does not stoop to low levels in order to achieve personal gain. People admire that most in a leader. The Democrats and the press fail to realize that fact. Everybody just be patient and relax, because when the actual Dem candidate is chosen and the press dies down, the momentum will swing back to our side even stronger than before.
Plus, never underestimate this President! ALGORE, "the greatest debater in our history" learned the hard way in the debates, that "stupid stuttering Bush", made him look like an ignorant school boy!
