Let Us Unite Behind President Bush ( A Plea Message to all Freepers)
FE/2/04

Dear Freepers
In this crucial election year, we are seeing that some conservatives are irresponsibly attacking President Bush in very aggressive way. By doing so, they are helping the Democrats and this is not acceptable at all. In this crucial time of our history, where we are fighting the war on terror, it is extremely important that we stay firmly united behind President Bush. We simply cannot afford as a nation to have a Democrat in the White House, it will be a disaster for America. Thus, I would like to ask you my friends who love President Bush and want to see him re-elected to stop attacking him and think about the big picture. Also, I would like to ask you to personally send e-mails to any conservative journalist, radio host, or TV host who is attacking President Bush or harshly criticizing him and ask them not to do so. I already e-mailed Mr. Joe Scarborough from MSNBC asking him to stop attacking President Bush as he has been doing lately. I send an e-mail to Mr. Bob Novak asking him to tell the truth about the ultra left liberal John Kerry rather than put down President Bush as he did in his latest articles. I sent an e-mail to NewsMax asking them to retrieve my name from their e-mail news alert list because I disagree with the way they are attacking President Bush lately. Any article posted on Free Republic and that is bashing President Bush for not being conservative enough should not get any traction or responses. If we do not respond to them, then they will eventually stop posting such irresponsible articles. We must work hard in toning down the rhetoric of some of our conservative friends. We love them very much, we respect them very much, but their anger is hurting us all in this crucial election year. Please let us do so, for the sake of this great nation.
Sincerely yours; JVERITAS

His plan for the border is somewhere between " Just walk across the bridge' and "We have busses for you".
For the American voter to allow this is ridiculous!

Wow, that is a lot of illegal immigrants. Thanks for the sources of that info.
It is interesting to note that the origin of the terrorists of 9/11 came from the "everywhere else" (the category with the least number of people). That tells me that the President has been concentrating on the most dangerous category of illegal immigrants.
I think it's a matter of philosophy--illegal immigrants from Mexico and Central America come here to make a better life for themselves.
Many if not most of the people from "everywhere else" come here with the sole purpose of killing Christians or at least Americans because they hate us and their religion tells us to.
Again, I do not believe in ILLEGAL immigration from ANYWHERE; just pointing out that the President seemed to be concentrating on the most urgent area--those who want to kill us just for being here--first. He is now starting to concentrate on the area where the greatest number of people come in illegally.

You know full well what I meant.
This influx of illegals has been going on for a very long time. No one has done one thing about it.

So, just because no one has done anything, WHY?, seriously should we let OUR President off the hook? That's why we voted him in ....to fix what Clinton screwed up.

A couple of caveats.
These numbers do not include a very large number of people who enter "legally", then conveniently forget their exit dates. Most of those are in the OTM category -- Other Than Mexican. That is how most of the 9/11 hijackers came in.
We still get several thousand people from hostile countries jumping the fence out here in the desert every year. The same ratio of catches to getaways doesn't apply.
The present fee charged by coyotes to Mexicans is about $1,500 per head. For an Islamic it runs about $30,000 per head or higher. That kind of money buys first class travel arrangements from very sophisticated coyotes. The apprehension rate is going to be significantly less.
Can you pick a Saudi or Syrian out of a crowd of Mexicans if he is speaking some Spanish? He can claim to be indio and his bad Spanish would be easily explained. I can forge most Mexican forms of ID on this computer -- in fact, I have to dirty them up to make them look believable. If caught, he just gets deported back to Mexico and tries again the following day.
How much room would a couple of vials of anthrax or ricin take up in a backpack? Reassuring, isn't it?

Thank you Peach,for the information.
My goal is not to win an argument, get one up on a fellow poster.I find no joy in this.
Those of us who will vote for Bush ,some with regret, resentment, anger at one policy over another, others wholeheartedly, not really bothered enough to worry about his faults, others enthusiastically, though concerned about spending, illegal immigration,CFR or others must keep our eye on the ball.
We do not want a democrat in the White House and think Kerry ,the lefty liberal, hypocrite would be a disaster as CIC,appointer of judges, budget maker.
Let's recognize we don't all agree on the reasons, but cannot tolerate the results of a Bush loss.
