"Since President Bush has had almost zero effect on the domestic abortion issue what difference does it make?"
Errr.... YEAH?!?! And as far as the judicial nominees go. It seems that your logic is backwards. It makes more sense for the President to push harder for a SC justice than to expend his influence on pissant circuit court judges.
But hey. If you like judicial activist that will target gun rights, freedom of speech, and innocent children so be it. I'm glad that you can equate such surrender to a clear conscience. . .

You mean like Judge Reggie in Washington DC? Bush appointee who upheld the DC Handgun Ban under the Collective Rights theory?
We need more Bush judges like him right?

But you see OWK, whenever they do post their own words, their own stand, whatever you wanna call it, the 5%ers jump in and start calling them Bushbots, and tell them they have brown stuff all over their nose, and so on and so forth. And so that's when they resort to the gratuitous butt-smooching?

The defense in that case sucked. It wasn't the fault of the judge.

"Any other petticoats you wish to hide behind? "
Nah. I figure it must be getting pretty crowded with you hiding behind Kerry's patticoat and all.

Dood, the Constitution does not even mention political parties, but they are the reality of the day and what you have to work within.
The recital does folks good.

As I stated earlier in this thread, I was Freeping before you joined. As in mid-late 1998. Me too but I never needed to change my name. What was your original name?

Sorry, had to commute. The quick answer is that although I feel the spending and other things are undesirable, I do not see them as a threat to the republic. As much as I hate to admit it, our fine country has survived almost 100 years of creeping government growth. With that as a backdrop, I can't fall for the hyperbole about losing the republic. It would appear we just have different priorities. At this moment in history, I think foreign policy is far more important than any domestic issues (as long as Bush doesn't declare himself dictator or something like that). It would appear your priorities are the exact opposite. Nothing wrong with that, it's just that's where each of us is in our lives right now. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I have young children. I don't begrudge you your priorities, but mine are just as valid. Don't mean to sound like a moral relitavist, but life is complex.

No one has explained to me the value of voting for Bush over a true conservative yet.Fair enough. I want the WOT to continue. I know you don't but if one has my priorities, this is an excellent reason to vote for Bush.

you are truly a sick and demented individual comparing Stalin's movement to the conservative cause. You have no sense of right or wrong.

I'm not the liar. Your just the one who has a hard time expressing his desire to install a President Kerry.
