Granted immigrants are hungrier than natives and would tend to tolerate more, and produce more. However, if we have to give each job in the US to the lowest bidder, we may end up giving the job of President to a foreigner who would be more than happy to work 24x7 without one day vacation, and don't even ask for more than $60K/year. That is a good saving? How about all these worthless CEOs who are playing golf and doing practically nothing? I wager you an Indian immigrant would do much better job, and cost us less. In other words, let us just bring a new hungry population here, and forget our lazy population?

My husband is a union journeyman carpenter making $12 an hr because of cheap laborers doing union work. Thats what the AFL-CIO is doing for him. We see where their loyality lies and even the Border Patrol Agents are going up against AFL-CIO because of it!
