I wouldn't say I SUPPORT him. I listen to him. SOme of what he says makes sense, some of what he says is just inflamatory rhetoric to get a rise out of his audience. I don't even think he personally believes it.

You can't compare Savage to people like Hannity, O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, etc. He's a showman - a conservative showman, but a showman. He more entertainment than politics. A light hitter from a mental perspective.

Is he anti-Christian? I haven't heard him say anything really anti-Christian, but I only listen to him at times in my workshop when I'm in there late.

My favorite radio show conservatives are Mark Levin, G. Gordon Liddy, Hannity and Monica Whalley.

Fwiw, Michael Savage is a terrible voice for conservatism. One could very easily make a case that he is a racist. He was recently caught wishing a caller he believed to be gay that he hopes he gets AIDS and dies. He is a defender of Slobodan Milosevic, who is a socialist. He might not be anti-Christian, but as a Christian, I would have a hard time defending giving Michael Savage my time or defense.

Is he anti-Christian?

He is very far from being anti-Christian. He speaks of God often. You will often hear him defending Christians and pointing out that Christians are being persecuted. He quotes the bible often.

Despite the inflamatory approach, which for some reason I feel he thinks he needs, he is a very educated and insightful man. Very intelligent. Knows his history, science, has written many books on epidemiology, has a Phd, a couple of masters and his work was cited in at least one Harvard Medical Journal.

Ofcourse, all the wizards of tolerance, diversity and kkol aid flavors try to discredit him. Can't go against the pack. Baaaah.

I'm Christian, and I listen to him too. I like him, although he drives me crazy sometimes.
He actually supports Christians very much. (Even though his theology is very, very limited!)
He is not perfect, he has many faults and problems. But he is a real human being behind that mike, and I will take that anyday instead of the other boring mouthpieces.
I also think people who are not from the NY tri-state area are afraid of his style. I grew up in a neighborhood where there were passionate men all over the place.
