By the way, saw a piece yesterday where the Wall Street Journal is saying that the upswing in the economy brought about by the tax cuts and low interest rates is making companies profitable and putting people back to work. Something like 1.5 million new jobs will be created by November. Even manufacturing is booming. Who woulda thunk it?and by next year we can add all of Mexico and Central America to the Social Security payroll????

To me really it's okay to destroy the Social Security program ---- but if Bush is giving the citizens of Mexico a "right" to opt onto it ----demand their "fair share" and all that --- then I hope he first gives us an opportunity to opt out, reimburses us a portion of what we've paid into it now if we choose not to be part of it.

Guys, chill out for a bit and think ... this is a bad idea, a *proposal* ... what we need to do is head it off by making more noise on the immigration issue. Where to stop it? In Congress.
President proposes, Congress disposes.
