MEE-OWCH! Could a catfight be brewing between "Saturday Night Live" newscaster Tina Fey and right-wing pundit Ann Coulter?
While presenting Al Franken with his comedy trophy at yesterday's New York Magazine Awards, Fey lauded the liberal author of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" for skewering the likes of Coulter and Bill O'Reilly, adding: "Have you ever seen Ann Coulter in person? It's like seeing a rat. It's like, ewwww!"

Long distance runners often lose toenails and sometimes they don't grow back in right. I'm working on losing one myself.
We love Ann for the same reason people love Limbaugh. She doesn't cut the liberals (dupes) and lefties (commies) a bit of slack and seems to be a happy warrior who really enjoys sticking it to the opposition. She has a lovely face, and we'd all like to feed her a big plate of lasagna but she is mostly beloved for her mind and attitude.

I assume that by saying things are going to fast, this lib means that he doesn't agree with the chosen design. Also probably wants to do it himself.

About as brilliant as your clever retort.
How many books have you sold, writer wannabe boy?
If you're so above all of this, why even chech out the thread?
BTW, Hemingway was a sorry excuse for a human being. Ask his daughters.

One thing that was funny recently was the American Indian comedian. I think it was 3 weeks ago. I don't know if anyone saw it.

Some of their skits nowadays must be inside jokes or something. I just don't get them or can't figure out what the point of the skit is. I use to wonder why all the funny people were leaving SNL, but now it's obvious that they abandoned ship when they saw it sinking. (and i don't blame them, it was a good call on their part)

"BTW, in recent years Will Ferrell was occasionally riotously funny. So were Tracy Morgan and Tim Meadows."
Yeah but it's just not worth watching a whole show for one 3 minute funny skit thrown in the middle. The only time I watch it is when they have a guest I like on the show. Usually, they will maybe have one skit that's actually funny and the rest are either too stupid to laugh at or so completely off the wall that I don't get the point.
OTOH, I love MadTV. My favorite is when they do music videos mocking current pop stars. The Jewel one they did was just priceless.

SNL has not been funny since the early days. I think they reached the bottom of the proverbial barrel after the original crew left and are still trying to scrape it. Why everyone still pretends to like SNL is beyond comprehension...

"I write for a living " Well you must be starving then, with passages like this:
"Sorry to throw the cold water, but man, Tom Petty with boobs and a vagina? Pass the bag. "
And you thinking that this thread is all about "defending a hot chick" merely reveals you to be a fool. Your condescension and mocking of fellow FReepers proves your classlessness.

Aw, did I hurt your feelings by mocking your widdle Binky-winky? You can't seem to let go of this bone---no wonder you fawn over Coulter. Face it, pal: she's not going to be calling you for a date any time soon.

I loved the early days - got to see a live show in 1977.
The show itself has been uneven, but there have been some good characters and bits since then. Eddie Murphy doing Gumby or Mr. Rogers always cracked me up, Miller, MacDonald, Hartman ... But it's been a long time since an entire show was funny.

I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed. With me at least it's how a woman carries herself which is important. I have have fallen for women of varying physical types, all because of how they've carried themselves. My present girlfriend could stand to lose 40-50 pounds but her value to me intellectually and spiritually far outweigh (no pun intended) the physical aspect.
Is Ann Coulter a "goddess"? No. Is she unattractive? No. But she has passion and convictions and THAT is the main attraction, at least for me.

I don't really like P.Diddy, but I do have slightly more respect for him running the marathon considering that he's such a pampered person and likely not use to sweating much. Normally, I would consider stuff like that a PR stunt, but he really didn't get *that* much publicity out of it and he followed through and finished it. Plus, he has so much money that he didn't even need extra publicity. Any idea what charity he did it for?

Yes, I'm a liberal troll who's been trolling FR long before you ever signed up . . . (eyes rolling) . . .
