I have no idea whether the republicans are trying to imitate the democrats because Clinton pulled two terms or what. It could be "favors" are owed or even a little blackmailing going on. My deepest suspicion has to do with cold hard cash. The RNC was bragging about how Bushs' re-election campaign funds are spilling out of the bucket. I don't recall how many millions he has available but theres quite a few. So, are corporations donating to the fund in order to get their names onto the Iraq contact list? Probably.

I wish he would remember where his office is....on American soil, protected by the US Constitution, Secret Service agents who are all American citizens and all patriotic American civilians.

I may be pissed at him but I sure wouldn't let an illegal alien take a shot at my President without knowing that his family tree will go up in flames.

I don't know if I pinged you before to the following article, but it's about Bush, his family and their long-time ties to Mexican and Mexican-American businessmen (all of 'em rich!).
