A few questions on this:
Mr. Nethercott was arrested now on charges stemming from a purported action made eight months ago in Texas? Was the flight-from prosecution charge added because he went to Arizona or were authorities just waiting for him to leave Texas just to lay that charge on him?

Ranch Rescue volunteers their help to private property owners tired of the endless stream of illegal aliens who trespass on their land, often leaving pollution and damages behind. They apprehended a couple and had to release them due to no response from Federal authorities (admitted to by the feds themselves). If any abuses occurred why would Ranch Rescue want the authorities to take control of the aliens when it would have served anyone guilty of abuse to release the aliens without notification?

How can Ranch Rescue be considered extremist when they are helping citizens protect what’s theirs when the government can’t or won’t?

This reeks of MALDEF, La Raza and the other malodorous malcontents who seek to remove all border control.

Why was this thread moved to “Back Room”? This issue needs as much activism as it can get without treating it like someone’s “special” uncle who is only allowed plastic utensils.

Easy. They break the law and act like a bunch of Rambo-wannabees. I suggest you read up on American Border Patrol, which operates within the law in a low-key manner which achieves results, namely embarassing the feds into enforcing the law and patrolling the border.

He was jailed on those charges in Texas, and released on his own recognizance pending trial.

One element of being released is that you have the restrictions on your movement read to you. Generally, while you're charged and awaiting trial on felony charges, you're not allowed to engage in interstate travel without approval from the court.

Because of folks on "your" side who seem to think that "shoot, shovel, and shut up" is the way to go for private citizens dealing with illegal immigration.

This issue needs as much activism as it can get without treating it like someone’s “special” uncle who is only allowed plastic utensils.

Talk to your buddies about that.

Six months ago eleven state coordinators of Ranch Rescue made a split from that organization due to this and other problems with the leadership. Since that time Jack Foote has done what he could to destroy the alliance which was formed by those individuals even to the point of having two of his lackeys spread lies about me and the members of American Border Alliance.

Now it seems that justice is being served. Those of us who left Ranch Rescue knew of the allegations leveled at Jack Foote, head of RR, and his refusal to answer the questions posed to him concerning them.

We at American Border Alliance take no satisfaction in this news but feel that it is time that the record be set straight. We are convinced that the allegations of a vicious assault are true. We are convinced that Jack Foote and Casey Nethercott are guilty of that assault.

We were told that Mr. Foote had held a bound man to the ground and that Mr. Nethercott had kicked that man until and even after he had lost consciousness. We have seen the depositions of eyewitnesses and are convinced of the truth of the charges. We are, however, appalled at the length of time it has taken to bring the truth to light. Those witnesses should have spoken up immediately!

Be that as it may, we are glad to see that justice will now be meted out to the two "men" who committed such a foul crime against another. Such an act is nothing more nor less than cowardice. I, as National Director of ABA, have stated to our members that should one of them act in such a manner, that person would answer to me first and the law could have what, if anything, were left.

To those who succumbed to the wiles of Mr. Foote (and Turner, his lackey in AZ) I can only say too bad you didn't wish to hear the truth. It would have saved you much embarrassment.

Because mamy Republican incumbants, from the top down, are MexTexican internationalists who fear what's coming, politically and otherwise. And for good reason.

And their bootlickers here are supporting them as their political base dissolves, leaving the rest to crumble.
