Ok, here's a question - how are things any different than when Daschle was calling the shots? We still havn't gotten judicial appointments, etc...

Here's what's different. If Daschle was in charge, we would have all sorts of hearings on the Iraq War, the Wilson/Plame affair, Enron, Halliburton, etc. etc.

We also would have a bunch of bills which we would have to block, like an increase to the Education Bill, making us look like meanies.

Also, we would not be able to get our bills (like tax cuts) scheduled, which would not be good.

THAT is why we need to keep the Majority Leader's post, even if Frist isn't as aggressive as we would like.

Maybe not as many as you and I would like, but....vive le difference!
