I believe that there is a small contingent of internet posters (you can find them on ANY site, here, LP, LF, DU, WHEREVER), that think they can walk in the door, defecate in the middle of the rug, and then expect to be patted on the head and told "good boy!!". This small contingent will then be shown the door and told to take a hike, then later act all indignent and outraged and carry on about it forever and a day.

Fair enough.

But I think the definition of "deficate on the rug" is often at issue.

To the more zealous and power hungry, it might be "daring to speak out against GOP ideological failures".

For the more rational, it might be, spamming.

I am a relative newbie ,long time lurker.I believe Bad Joe's character assassination was way over the line.There is such a thing as honest disagreement without this level of bile.(they didn't sound like helpful hints to me).

Seems everyone complaining bitterly wants Jim to abdicate and turn over running FR to them.Thus FR could reach the heights,fulfill its promise,be as good as it once was,etc.

I saw no character shining through in the BadJoe diatribe.
