My 2 cents. (and worth every penny)

You're a basically decent guy.

You have at times surrounded yourself with power-hungry a-holes who whispered sweet words into your ears, and ultimately knifed you in the back. (Navigator, Mojo, Cal, Trixie, come to mind)

You have likewise had some decent folk in your midst who honestly cared about you, this website, and liberty... but these folks either ran afoul of your quick temper, or were targeted and pushed out of the fold by jealous power-seekers in your midst. (Clarity, A Navy Vet, Michael Gallutia, and Badjoe come to mind).

Somehow the cycle keeps repeating itself.

On a trip to 7-11 this evening, I was heartened to see tall stacks of unbought Sunday New York Times and Newsdays. And a pimpley-faced young man about 20 years old came in and paid for a New York Post.

You are right.

In the city, I noticed that the NYTimes now has established an "afternoon price" of .50, down from the dollar they charge in the morning.

Word is out.

glad to hear that NYT is stacking up unsold, isn't this environmentally unsound? Anyone have access to the number printed and the number purchased, and destroyed over the past three years or so? Isn't this a required filing on all publications which sell advertising??
