The DNC has stationed ten thousand lawyers in Fla and has directed them to charge voter intimidation ......even if none exists.
John Kerry has said he is going to proclaim victory Nov 2, and name his Cabinet, no matter what the vote totals show.
Unless, of course, an historic blowout for GWB stops him.
Now here's what we can do.
DO THIS NOW. EMAIL THE ABA ethicsearch@abanet.org
Re: Lawyers making false charges.
The Democratic National Committee has instructed their lawyers to charge voter intimidation, even where none exists. This directive, if carried out, violates the American Bar Association's Rules of Professional Legal Conduct in almost every single state.
The penalty is a disciplinary proceeding and potential disbarment. Lawyers may be zealous partisans, but no lawyer wants to risk losing his or her law license -- for almost any cause.
The ABA should issue a directive regarding the penalties involved for lawyers using their professional status to make unsubstantiated charges.
Pile of...lawyers
The National Broadcasting Company has instructed their viewers to concoct stories of voter intimidation and record their sound bites on the Nightly News hotlines, 1-866-MYVOTE-1 or 1-866-OURVOTE, which they will then broadcast without the nuisance of fact-checking!!
It's not difficult to imagine the scenario, since they have already laid it out: No matter the lead that Bush has, tie up the election in voter intimidation court cases.
Should Kerry lead, that would be the end of it.
Just emailed them. I'll let you know what they answer (don't hold your breath...)
What's black and tan and looks good on a lawyer?
I was just curious as to the "fee" these lawyers will be getting. 10,000 lawyers, $5,000,000, 500 bucks apiece. I didn't think there was a lawyer left who would work that cheap.
We should probably clarify that it's the plaintiffs' bar that we hate the most. My brother is an attorney and does only appellate work for a firm that does mostly corporate defense. Still, it's been difficult not being able to tell lawyer jokes at the dinner table anymore.
Are there that many attorneys that are Republican?? As far as I can tell, most are Dims (my cousin, excluded).
now tell me, In veno, do you even know what a plethera is?
Just a coincidence that they have been granted a month to vote early in Florida before the official voting day.
BUMP
The Republicans are there in a legal and responsible manner. The democrats have proven time and again they have no use for the Rule of Law, only winning, and if they must resort to illegal means, they will do that without a single qualm.
A rottweiler?
DONE. Thanks for posting!
What's black and tan and looks good on a lawyer?...
A two tone SUV?
black and tan...
my mind went immediately to a Guinness and Bass...
Good Luck..
We're just witnessing the results of Dr. Benjamin Spock and his theory of sparing the rod, either literally or
figuretively. (Is that a word?) And the schools adopting
a "no right" and "no wrong" stance called values clarifi-
cation, and "situational ethics". Dear Lord, deliver us!
We have created these monsters!
I wish I knew if this NBC ploy could be addressed legally! It's really BEYOND THE PALE. All I can think of is to FReep the phone lines like crazy:

My local Republican HQ was completely unresponsive.
