Document ISGP-2003-0001498 ISGP-2003-0001498 contains a 9 pages TOP SECRET memo (pages 87-96 in the pdf document) dated March 16 2003 that talks about transferring SPECIAL AMMUNITION from one ammunition depot in Najaf to other ammunition depots near Baghdad. As we know by now the term SPECIAL AMMUNITION was used by Saddam Regime to designate CHEMICAL WEAPONS as another translated document has already shown. For example in document CMPC 2004-002219 where Saddam regime decided to use CHEMICAL WEAPONS against the Kurds they used the term SPECIAL AMMUNITION for chemical weapon http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1601810/posts. What is also interesting is that these SPECIAL AMMUNITION were listed as 122 mm, 130 mm, and 155 mm caliber shells which are not by itself SPECIAL unless it contain CHEMICAL WEAPONS. In fact the Iraqi have always used 122 mm, 130 mm, and 155 mm caliber shell as a main delivery tool for Chemical Weapons Agents by filling these type of shells with Nerve Gas, Sarin, Racin, Mustard gas and other Chemical Agents.

"Interesting reading, eh? Now that's an understatement!!"
Yes. There will be more as jveritas translates stuff coming down the pike. The conservative talk shows will slowing gain momentem in reporting to their audience. People will get totally pissed off and start to email and call the goons in the L/MSM, and somewhere the break will take hold. L/MSM do fear the Internet alternate news so they will have to bite the bullet, or perhaps they really will sit it out. The power players could keep in contact and have agreements to no matter what keep this stuff as low as possible and continue to discredit any leaks.
But the books that will be written, I keep coming back to this point, will in the future set the record straight.

Thanks. I had downloaded the whole 230 page document last month when it first became available. All Freepers who have Adobe Acrobat Reader on their system really should download it, and read it a few times. Some very interesting analysis IMHO.

"From the post #160 above:"
Again. All who have Acrobat Reader really should download the who document and give it a carefull read. I have gone back to it a number of times in the past month as some of jveritas's translations have become available, just to check with what the Butcher's goons had done in a given time frame.
However, the Harmony documents are set in concrete. So many specifics are brought out on given items, issues. This IIP report however can help one paint a good mental picture as how certain orders where given when and why.
However don't expect long drawn out details on wmd programs from it. Some things you read may surprise you. Some things Saddam only thought where a reality, and hencefurth, Harmony docs that clearly show some given order being given, in some case will be shown to not represent the reality of what happened. As an example, due to Saddams fantasy land, some general may have given an order realizing it meant nothing, but it keep the general from losing his head.

With all respects, as a guy who watched thousands of hours of Saddam tapes, to think of Saddam as being in Fantasy land isn't really accurate. Think more Bob De Niro as Al Capone in Untouchables. That is Saddam. If Saddam thought he had WMD, he did. These scientsts feeding US investigators this "we told him we had it but didn't" or better yet "we dumped it next to his palace so we couldn't tell him" crap are simply supplying cover stories. No scientist in their right mind would lie to Saddam. I don't care what CIA or ISG report says it. It is B.S. They were all terrified of Saddam and new he would cut them to pieces if they were caught lying. This country really needs to look at these scientists in context and not just take them at their words, IMHO.

"If Saddam thought he had WMD, he did." "They were all terrified of Saddam and new he would cut them to pieces if they were caught lying."
Get the IIP report and read it in detail. Much of what it contains we have read elswhere. My statement does not propose in any way the Saddam regime did not have every intention of resurecting all it's wmd programs once sanctions where lifted. They very cleverly fooled many people into thinking they gave up on the stuff, while hiding stuff, and re-arranging many a facility to look like things where stopped. They in fact had stuff still at some of the mil sites when our Army and Marines invaded and start moving about the country. We have evidence remaining chemical pre-cursors where still stored in situ adjacent to various type artillery and mortar shells. We found syringes, vials of atropine, gas masks, and chemical suits laying in bunkers containing live ordnance, in some cases binary shells, with associated special loading tubes (1 meter long grey with a number of stop bronze stopcocks brazed on the ends, used for loading binary shells), etc..
And I have since I joined this web site, endlessly repeated this things to doubters.
So perhaps my wording indicated I don't believe they had the stuff and where going to use it. Hell the MiGs buried in the sand with special sprayer systems where not meant to spray crops. And the lists go on.
What I was appealing to is the IIP report does bring out some quite interesting things about how Saddam would demand something to be done. Then everyone would go along with his "fantasy", or lose their heads.
The IIP report really is worth the read.

I have always scratched my head when I read that Saddam's cabinet would lie to him to make him happy. It did not make one bit of sense to me. Saddam isn't the kind of guy who likes to be lied to. Thanks!
