I've seen three five three while reading the rules but I don't plan on even learning, too many rules. I'll stick with 5-7-5 and that's it. Too much like work otherwise, ruins the fun of it!

I just read there's also 2-3-2. I found an
explanation for the differences in length too.
"17 English syllables convey a great deal more
information than 17 Japanese syllables..."
After realizing this, some poets decided write
with 3-5-3 instead. That form is considered
"free-form", while the 5-7-5 structure is
considered traditional english haiku.
