[Canadian Outrage]

This summer my sister and BIL had some friends visiting from Ontario (they are Conservative)!! and they said they had taken a week and gone to the Dominican Republic. Gail said she will never go back there. Said it was dirty and dangerous. She said they were told not to venture outside of their resort. Ted, of course had to try it. He said the same thing. I didn't ask "where" exactly they were but they sure were not happy with it. I can't see you and Linda in a dirty and dangerous place. Do you just stay within the confines of your resort?

We didn't experience that at all.

Poverty yes, dangerous....absolutely not. People were friendly, we ventured out every day. Talked to lots of people that go there often who said the same thing.
