We worked alone
from dusk til dawn
although I could barely see.
No one in the house
but me and the mouse
and the Cromemco Z2D.
No one was boss there.
The mouse wrote the software.
While I did the wiring and such.
The Z2D,
who was smartest of the three,
usually didn't do very much.
We worked at our task,
tho we never were fast,
our duties we never did shirk.
Til the mouse on the floor
let out with a roar
and the Z2D went berserk.
