"No, the most obnoxious moment was the Al-Tipper kiss."

Just wait till the 2004 convention, you'll have a Hilery/Tipper liplock.

Hmmmm.. I should have put a barf alert on that, oh well.

I never saw the "dance" you mentioned and if someone sends you a copy, do NOT forward it to me.

There are definitely some sights that are not fit for my poor, hard-working eyeballs.

I also recall that Stevie Nicks was less than thrilled that the Clinton campaign used the Fleetwood Mac song "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" as its campaign theme.

Your recollection jives with mine. I was pleasantly surprised by her comments.

This just shows the difference between liberals of the 70's and socialists of the 90's and beyond. Just a matter of defining deviency down.

Why wait? Have you seen the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone yet?

You'd never see Stevie Nicks doing anything like that.

Stevie Nicks is a little old, a little overweight, and a little liberal. But I still have the hots for her.

Maybe more so, after reading this bit of common sense.

Hell, I'm a girl, and I think Stevie Nicks is hot.

I also recall that Stevie Nicks was less than thrilled that the Clinton campaign used the Fleetwood Mac song "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" as its campaign theme. I think she had some unflattering things to say about Clinton at the time, although she stopped short of saying she planned to vote Republican.

Fleetwood Mac members infered that they were amazed at the stupidity of the choice of that song. They wrote "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" about a break up.

I don't know what her ideology is, but she was a stong supporter of our troops last spring, when most rock stars and Hollyweird stars were very vocally anti-war.

She had dropped a lot of weight when I last saw her, which might have been in 1999. The burden of excellent concert tickets is that you're forced to look up the dresses of the women performers.

Is she really blonde?

The most obnoxious moment in television history was when Al Gore showed up at the first Bush/Gore debate in 2000 wearing so much makeup that he looked like a transvestite.

Let us not forget the rod in the rump stiff Honkey "strut", or the feeble attempt at Alpha Male intimidation of Bush, the Younger.

I live in Phoenix, too. What part of the Valley does she live in? Once a friend and I were riding around and she said, "That's Stevie Nicks' house." If I recall, it was high up on a hill (from where we were driving), but I don't remember what part of town we were driving thru!

She's probably all that, but she's also a little bit talented. People will still be listening to the songs she wrote long after the world has forgotten about Madonna and Britney.

It's real simple - she backs the troops, she gets every inch of slack I can cut her. You don't have to be 20 to be hot - heck, I still think Lauren Bacall is hot and she's a wrinkly commie. Rhiaaaaaaaaanon...
