I need to step out for a couple of hours but will return to write a response to the latest work.

(Poetry lives in me and me through it.)

I wrote this yesterday, perhaps I should entitle it:
"The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and the Inane"
The clock struck
The moon rose
I thought of you
And wiggled my toes
That did not come out right
Something else, another way
Might toward me
Your heart sway
Roses are red
Violets are blue
No thats so old
And over used.
In your eyes
I see the sparkles
Of the sun
As they dance on the sea
The sparkles in your eyes
Like sunlight dancing on the sea
Just like the earth pulls the moon
Your eyes are pulling me
Looking into your eyes
Mine, knock upon the door
Silkily, You say come in
I come and ever leave no more
As I gaze , past the gates
Your eyes, I go ever further in
I know that I want to linger
And ever more reside within
As I gaze into your eyes and
You pull me through the gates
I am drawn ever deeper in
Where eternal destiny awaits
There is no turning back
I am now, without a rudder
Lost and tossed upon the sea
The pleasure makes me shudder
